1: English Teaching Jobs That Require a B.A. and Teaching Certificate

We are going to start with English teaching jobs that require both a B.A. and a TEFL, TESL or TESOL Certificate, too. 

These type of online English teaching jobs have the highest number of job opportunities, as the majority of companies are looking for both these qualifications.

The hourly rate is between $15 and $25 per hour, and your primary work hours will follow that of China. The chance for growth within this pay bracket is limited. Even those that are very experienced won’t get more than $26/hr.

2: English Teaching Jobs That Only Require a TEFL, TESL or TESOL Certificate

Since 1 April 2019, The Chinese Ministry of Education changed its regulations. It made it mandatory for any teacher, teaching English online to have either a TEFL, TESL or TESOL certificate. If this is where you looking to find jobs, then make sure you acquire one before submitting your application.

These jobs are not as abundant as the first group, and unfortunately, you will get paid less too. 

The pay starts off at $7/hr with no more than $ 22/hr.

3: English Teaching Jobs with No Degree or Certificate Required

This is for the ladies that are fresh out of the gate, who want to start teaching as quickly as possible with 🚫 no degree, 🚫 no certificate, and 🚫 no experience.

Five leading companies are looking to hire teachers that are full of enthusiasm, natural talent, and that a passion for teaching. Pay starts around $10/hr to $26/hr, and there are a some who allow you to set your own rate.

In most application processes, you will be required to teach a class, almost like an audition. Be bright, be vital, and remember to have lots of fun with the children.

4: Teaching Jobs: Languages Other Than English

 For those that speak a 2nd/3rd OR more languages.

A few companies in this group offer English, as well as other languages too. If you can speak multiple languages you have a high chance of being hired. You could possibly double your opportunities to gain a broader student base. 

Some allow you to set your own rate. While others start you off depending on experience, from between $7/hr to $30/hr.
